Interview Questions to help decide what Realtor to use!

The purchase of a home will typically be the single largest transaction in your life to this point.

Here are some questions that will hopefully help you make an informed decision when choosing who you want to have help you navigate through the process.

  1. Will you (the agent) represent my interests only or do you also work for sellers?

  2. Do you or your brokerage represent any sellers or builders?

  3. Do you ever practice DUAL agency?

  4. Will you show me for sale by owner properties where the seller is not willing to pay a commission?

  5. Can you give me the names of several current and former clients for reference?

  6. What experience do you have as a Buyer Agent?

  7. Does everyone on your team work only for buyers?

  8. Will you sign an agreement stating that you will be exclusively representing me in the real estate transaction?

  9. Can you GUARANTEE me that no matter what home I decide to purchase that you will be able to NEGOTIATE on my behalf?
